Responsibilities and functions
A single-member company, set up in 2003, managed and coordinated by Trentino Sviluppo s.p.a.
- Promoting the development of strategic and operational alliances between different sectors, including non-economic ones, in order to enhance the area as a destination and improve tourism proposals.
- Monitor the performance of the tourism system through a knowledge of tourism data and market dynamics. Identify and monitor the markets, both national and international, on which the Trentino tourism offer is to be proposed, and implement the consequent promotion and communication initiatives.
- Promote the development of the digital skills of the territory's operators and manage the communication systems and digital platforms functional to the tourism marketing of the entire territory.
- To conceive, plan and manage events of high tourism relevance promoted directly or assigned on the basis of provincial planning.
- Acting as a coordinator of the area territorial agencies and local tourism promotion companies present in the provincial territory.
- Carrying out direction, coordination and decision-making activities concerning the development of new tourism products emerging in the territories; if deemed consistent with its guidelines, finally coordinating and promoting the development of inter-area tourism products.
