In this regard, the president formalised with a letter sent to the mayor of Trento the provincial administration's commitment to enhance the new vocation of the San Vincenzo area through a concert by rock star Vasco Rossi, the first of a series of initiatives that will confirm the arena's new role. "We envisage a green space that will be available for recreational activities, both entertainment and sports," declares the mayor Franco Ianeselli, "We also aim to favour its use by citizens as a green area for leisure time. All of this, of course, during the periods not occupied by the events for which the site will be infrastructured.
In the meantime, the Province is expressing satisfaction with the ticket sales trend for the Trento concert, which has already exceeded 95,000 registrations. As is well known, this is an extra-calendar stage that has been added to the Vasco Rossi concerts that had been planned for some time and postponed due to Covid, and with a much larger audience than the other stages where the Italian singer-songwriter will perform.
As far as the work on the preparation of the green arena in San Vincenzo is concerned, once the levelling has been completed, work will begin on the fencing, the laying of the black and white water nets, and the support surface, to name but a few. The preparation of the area will be completed by April. At the same time, work is also being done to oversee the security aspect: in this regard, a specialist study has been commissioned to analyse how the big event will be managed.
