Fifty years of listening, care and courageous answers. This is the milestone celebrated today at the MUSE in Trento during the conference dedicated to the Camparta therapeutic community, a reality that represents excellence in the Trentino reception and recovery system. Present at the event was the provincial councillor for health Mario Tonina, who emphasised the social, therapeutic and cultural value of this historic experience in the addiction field.
"Fifty years show us that getting out of the tunnel of addiction is possible," Tonina said, "if there are solid projects, trained people, and a system that believes in the dignity of each individual's life path. Camparta, she added, is 'much more than a place: it is a living history that has gone through decades of transformations, without ever losing its heart, made of listening, professionalism and concrete hope'.
