The representatives of the ten Arge Alp territories met yesterday in Trento in the Province's headquarters building to take stock of the shared strategies for the Alpine regions and to define the next steps in view of the important Conference of Heads of Government to be held on 24 October, during which Trentino, which holds the presidency for 2025, will pass the baton to Vorarlberg.
For the Autonomous Province of Trento, Valeria Placidi, director general of the Department of Institutional Affairs, Anti-Corruption and Transparency, and Elisabetta Sovilla, director of the Service for Linguistic Minorities and External Relations, were present.
On the table were topics of interest to all the territories that are part of the Working Community: from the harmonised management of large carnivores to support policies for young people living in mountain regions, from the preventive management of natural hazards to the presentation of the many projects underway, which confirm Arge Alp's commitment to be an institutional reference point at Alpine level, actively contributing to the definition of common policies and the promotion of effective solutions. On Thursday, the Public Relations Group of the ten regions also took stock of the communication activities in 2025 and announced the ceremony for the Arge Alp 2025 Award, which will be held in Trento on the sidelines of the Heads of Government Conference.
