273 participants from 16 different nations, including the United States, Canada, Ireland, Great Britain, Germany, France, Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Croatia: a great success, both in terms of participation and audience, for the third edition of "Garda Lift on Fire", an international firefighting competition organised by the Riva del Garda Volunteer Fire Department. This afternoon, the president of the Autonomous Province of Trento, Maurizio Fugatti, also took part in the event's prize-giving ceremony.
'An event,' stressed President Fugatti, 'now in its third edition and growing. It is an important event to appreciate the skills of the fire brigade, with the training they have undergone, and which allows us to compare our reality with that of many other countries. Thanks, therefore, to the organisers of this important event and thanks also to the volunteers for their commitment'.
