The Life+TEN (Trentino Ecological Network) project, coordinated by the Sustainable Development and Protected Areas Service of the Autonomous Province of Trento in partnership with MUSE - Trento Science Museum, has been selected for the European LIFE Award 2019. The Life+TEN project has been selected together with four other European projects as best project in the "Nature" category. The winners will be announced on 16 May 2019 in Brussels. "For Trentino," emphasises the provincial councillor for town planning, environment and cooperation, "the environment represents a real constituent element of identity. It is in fact in the relationship with the territory that the way of life of our community has been built up over the years. This is why in Trentino we have worked and continue to work to preserve and enhance the natural environment. Being selected for an award such as this is therefore a great satisfaction that stimulates us to continue along the road we have undertaken, now that large areas of the territory are subject to protection, in a relationship and constant dialogue with local administrations and communities'.
