Sartorilegno of Borgo d'Anaunia, Italy's leading company in the sector for the production of certified wooden pallets, whose top management received the President of the Autonomous Province of Trento, Maurizio Fugatti, a few days ago in Fondo, together with the Mayor of Borgo d'Anaunia, Daniele Graziadei.
Luigi Sartori, founder of the company, together with his son Davide, head of production, and administrative manager Manuela Caset, introduced the employees to the president and took him on a tour of the various departments of the company, which processes about 800 cubic metres of wood every day, about 40% of the wood that comes from the Trentino forests every year.
And from our territory also comes the wood from the trees felled by Vaia and those attacked by the bark beetle, which has severely affected the Trentino forests: a stock of logs to be processed that will soon run out. This is why Luigi Sartori pointed out the opportunity to manage Trentino's forests with methods that improve their productivity, looking carefully at the future of the sector, always respecting the environment and guaranteeing the economy of the territory and the quality of the product. Still in relation to these issues, Sartori also stressed the need to create a quality brand for Trentino wood.
