The aim of the renewed agreement between the Autonomous Province of Trento and the Fondazione Campana dei Caduti di Rovereto is to promote the diffusion of the culture of peace and to allow the Foundation to continue its study, research, training and dissemination initiatives, in continuity with the commitments undertaken with the previous programme agreements. The agreement was recently approved by the Provincial Council, at the proposal of the Councillor for Education, Universities and Culture Mirko Bisesti, and officially signed today during the Provincial Council meeting at Colle di Miravalle by the Councillor himself and the Regent of the Foundation Marco Marsilli.
"The Bell of the Fallen is an essential reference point in our territory to continue to transmit, especially to the younger generations, the value of peace. Even in the historical phase we are going through, with an ongoing conflict in Europe, we all need to cultivate the idea of peace, through concrete and daily actions, through education, training and schools. My thanks therefore go to the Foundation and to those who dedicate themselves to this mission, because this is where we begin to build a responsible community,' said the councillor.
