The Euregio Cultural Thursdays are back at the Casa della Pesa in Bolzano. Every third Thursday of the month there will be entertainment, workshops and knowledge opportunities for adults and children.
The next event will be on Thursday, 19 January 2023, at 6 p.m., with a staged reading recalling the forced annexation of the three Ladin municipalities of Souramont (Cortina d'Ampezzo/Anpezo/Haydn, Livinallongo/Fodom/Buchenstein and Colle Santa Lucia/Col/Verseil) to the Province of Belluno by the fascist government. The three municipalities had been part of the historical Tyrol for centuries; the annexation took place on 21 January 1923, exactly one hundred years ago.
Some inhabitants of Souramont will take the stage, reading historical and contemporary texts. The stage reading has been jointly organised by the Euregio, the Casa della Pesa Cultural Association and the Istitut Cultural Ladin Cesa de Jan of Colle Santa Lucia/Col. The event will be accompanied musically by the 'Kropya' ensemble.
Admission is free, until the maximum number of visitors is reached.
