The 'Valdiriva project', which aims to protect homes from the hydraulic hazard posed by the Adige river, will be the focus of a new public meeting to update on the progress of the drafting stages, scheduled for early February. This was announced by the provincial councillor for agriculture, forestry, hunting and fishing, Giulia Zanotelli, who, yesterday, together with the general manager of the Civil Protection, Forestry and Fauna Department, Raffaele De Col, met with Coldiretti - at the request of the farmers' union - to take stock of the work being carried out by the Mountain Basin Service. On the other hand, no request was received from the 'spontaneous farmers' committee', which, through a press article, complained about the lack of involvement of farmers in the planning of the work.
