Rfi, Rete Ferroviaria Italiana, the lead company of the FS Group's Infrastructure Pole, announced today the awarding of the works for the executive design and construction of Trento's railway bypass to the consortium of companies composed of Webuild (lead company), Ghella, Collini Lavori and Sei Overseas.
We welcome this step, which brings us closer to the objective of providing Trentino with a strategic and fundamental work for the development not only of our province but of the entire country," commented the president of the Autonomous Province of Trento, Maurizio Fugatti. "In addition to representing a fundamental link for the entire Scandinavian-Mediterranean European Corridor, the Trento ring road will contribute to improving the efficiency of freight transport and making the mobility of our province, which is also a protagonist in these areas with concrete projects of international scope, even more sustainable. Obviously,' added the president, 'we are even more pleased that there will also be a Trentino company to carry out one of the works that will remain in the history of our territory.
