A big celebration in Bosentino for the inauguration of the refurbished and enlarged volunteer fire station to meet the needs of the service personnel. Present at the ribbon-cutting ceremony were, among others, the President of the Autonomous Province of Trento Maurizio Fugatti, the President of the Provincial Council Walter Kaswalder, the Mayor of Vigolana Paolo Zanlucchi, the Barracks Commander Angelo Pasqualini, and the Mayor of Sainte Féréole Henri Soulier, a French municipality with which there is a twinning and brotherhood relationship with the local community.
"The Volunteer Fire Brigade Corps has such deep roots in the history of Trentino that they predate the birth of the Republic we are celebrating today," said Fugatti, "roots that survive thanks to those values of volunteerism and solidarity that are the founding pillars of our community. Today, here in Bosentino, it is nice to see so many young people being part of this corps, the best living testimony to the centuries-old tradition of Trentino's Civil Defence volunteers. The fire stations are important to support, protect and help communities when they are in difficulty and we, as institutions, will never fail to support them to do their job to the best of our ability".
