The President of the Autonomous Province of Trento Maurizio Fugatti received the new Austrian Consul General in Milan, Wolfgang Strohmayer. The meeting was also attended by the Councillor for Economic Development, Labour, University and Research Achille Spinelli and the General Manager of the Department of Institutional Affairs, Anti-Corruption and Transparency Valeria Placidi. The Consul was accompanied by the Commercial Consul at the Austrian Consulate General in Milan Christoph Plank and the Head of the Foreign Trade Office of Advantage Austria in Bolzano Alexander Comploj.
"Trentino," stressed Fugatti, "is interested in further developing the already important relations with Austria, both in the economic-commercial field and in the field of research and development". President Fugatti also recalled the cooperation already in place within the Gect Euregio.
