This morning Palazzo Bortolazzi hosted the last of three 'tasting workshops' dedicated to the role a glass can play in the tasting of a Trentodoc. A concrete experience to show how much shape, thickness, thinness of the mouthpiece, lightness of the material, width of the parts, height and direction of the drinker, transparency, can make a difference in the exaltation of aromas and colour, in the rising of the bubbles, in the entry of the liquid into the mouth, in the perceived temperature. The curious proposal, in collaboration with Italesse, was conducted by Maurizio Dante Filippi, Best Sommelier of Italy AIS 2016, as part of the third day of the Trentodoc Festival.
