No new bear 'case' in Trentino. The last two episodes concern contact with cars in Valle dei Laghi and Paganella, which have been reported in recent days. This was specified by the Department of Civil Protection, Forests and Fauna, categorically denying some rumours circulating in the last few hours. It is not true, therefore, that the forestry corps has had to carry out deterrent actions in Fai della Paganella, since the authorities have not been notified of the presence of bears in built-up areas, and therefore it does not appear that what has been reported has ever happened. "It is therefore a pity to read of episodes that are the fruit of fantasy, which our community sincerely does not need," observes the provincial councillor for forests with responsibility for large carnivores, Roberto Failoni.
