In today's meeting, the provincial council, at the proposal of the councillor for urban planning, energy and transport Mattia Gottardi, approved an important measure to facilitate the spread of photovoltaic and solar thermal systems on the ground in roadside buffer strips, identifying the criteria for their installation in suitable areas provided for by the provincial law on renewable energy sources of 2022. "This measure strikes the right balance between the need to accelerate the energy transition and the need to preserve the safety and integrity of our infrastructures," says Councillor Gottardi. "Thanks to precise rules, we favour the development of renewable energies in a responsible and innovative way, enhancing the value of already existing spaces.
