With a resolution approved by the Provincial Council on the proposal of the Vice-President and Councillor for Education Francesca Gerosa, the continuation of the DSD-I language certification project has been authorised within the framework of the agreement with the Federal Republic of Germany, which has been running for some years now, committing the necessary resources for the programme and the final exam in Trentino's schools to the sum of 104,000 euros.
"Trentino is the only institution at regional level in Europe taking part in this important project, which allows students to obtain - at no cost to their families - a diploma certifying the level of knowledge of the German language corresponding to B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference and which, by also certifying the acquisition of cultural knowledge and transversal skills, is recognised without further testing for admission to a Studienkolleg in Germany, guaranteeing an interesting opportunity for our young people," explained Vice-President Gerosa.
