As of 8 p.m. this evening, Sunday 30 March, the ordinary (yellow) alert issued by the Trentino Civil Protection will go off for the strong winds that will affect the entire province. The alert will end on Tuesday, 1 April at 2 p.m. According to the forecast, the northerly winds will begin to intensify from this very evening, with gusts that may be strong or very strong, particularly in mountainous areas. At high altitudes, especially in the eastern sectors, the most intense phase is expected between the evening of Monday 31 March and the morning of Tuesday 1 April, while in the valley the strongest gusts are expected in the afternoon and evening of Monday. In some cases, gusts could reach or exceed 70-90 kilometres per hour, and it is not excluded that, especially in the mountains and exposed areas, peaks of over 90-110 kilometres per hour could occur.
