    The Santa Giustina Gorge is a gorge formed as a result of the erosive activity of the Noce River.
    Carved into the limestone rocks, the gorge in its northern part is enclosed between vertical and almost inaccessible walls, while further downstream it widens and the slopes on the right bank take on the gentler appearance of orchard slopes.
    The importance of the biotope is both floristic-vegetation and faunal.

    The importance of the site is due to the grandeur of the gorge and its rupicolous flora and vegetation.

    The site is located at the resurgences on the hydrographic right of the Brenta River near the village of Selva di Grigno.
    The water of the resurgences flows for a stretch through a dense thicket in which alders predominate.
    The alder grove in the western part gradually gives way to agricultural crops (hay meadows, maize fields) and robinia woods.

    Section of river with a natural riverbed and extensive riparian woods.
    Until not many decades ago, the entire Valsugana valley floor was dotted with more or less vast marshes created by the incessant flowing of the Brenta River. Today, the ancient landscape is witnessed by the presence of several wetlands such as this one, which represent important living environments for many species of flora and fauna.

    The Reserve is also a Special Area of Conservation and Special Protection Area; it is one of the protected areas that make up the Brenta River Reserve Network.

    A wide, almost flat cone, formed by mainly gravelly alluvial deposits, located at the mouth of the Avisio River in the Adige River, occupied by pioneer vegetation of river beds and riparian shrub and tree vegetation.

    Located along the final stretch of the Avisio Torrent, from the town of Lavis to its confluence with the Adige River, it is of considerable naturalistic value, as it represents one of the few areas along the Adige valley floor still unoccupied by urban settlements and agricultural crops. Moreover, it constitutes one of the very few stretches of valley bottom watercourse not yet transformed by canalisation works.

    The Reserve is also a Special Area of Conservation.

    Vast lake basin located near the centre of the same name (Giudicarie Esteriori), barred towards the valley bottom by imposing morainic deposits.
    It is one of the largest peat bogs in Trentino, with highly differentiated vegetation, including vast molinia grasslands. The site is also of great archaeological interest, due to the pile-dwelling village built in the ancient lake, which was then gradually transformed into a peat bog. An area of international interest for the transit of many medium- and long-range migratory species in late summer and autumn (post-reproductive migration).

    The Reserve is included in the territory of the Monte Baldo Local Nature Park.

    The Fiavé peat bog is well known for its great archaeological heritage. The nature reserve was also established in consideration of its great naturalistic value, so that a 'global' protection can be implemented to preserve both aspects of its richness.

    The reserve is also a Special Area of Conservation and is one of the protected areas that make up the Sarca River Park.

    A characteristic rounded hill, rising near Trento in the Adige Valley, formed of Eocene limestone, bordered on almost all sides by vertical limestone walls and ledges.
    It is a site of great environmental importance, both for its gemorphological and botanical and faunal characteristics, and is very representative of the forest ecosystems of the hillside.

    An imposing calcareous-dolomitic mountain range in western Trentino, furrowed on all sides by variously oriented valleys and gullies, sometimes very steep, with deciduous (downy oak, manna ash and beech) and coniferous (spruce, silver fir and larch) forests. At high altitudes, there are extensive mugo forests, alpine pastures and pioneer vegetation on rock faces, scree and mobile and fixed limestone debris.
    It is one of the most majestic mountain groups in the Dolomites, with a very rich flora of endemic species and differentiated vegetation in the individual valleys.

    The site covers the ridge area of the south-eastern part of the Cadria limestone group: from the more precipitous and elevated Corno di Pichea to the SE to the rounded profiles of Cima d'Oro and Bocca di Giumella.
    The vegetation consists mainly of alpine and subalpine grasslands on the sunny slopes and subalpine bushes sloping down into beech woods on the north-facing slopes.
