Water concessions - TR - Change of water user ownership

The change of ownership of the utility, whether total or partial (partial means that only some of the parcels or buildings served by the shunt are affected), must be communicated by submitting form TR.

The TR form for the change of ownership must be submitted within 90 days of the fact or act that determined the takeover, under penalty of payment of an administrative fine of 50 to 90 euros. The 90 days run from the date of the deed signed before the notary, in the case of the transfer of ownership of the property (sale, donation, exchange....) or, in the case of inheritance for which the ownership situation has not yet been defined, from the date of the death of the owner or, in all other cases, from the signing of a deed or agreement between private individuals conferring the possibility of using the parcel or property served (rental, management, etc.).

The service can be accessed by

- existing holders of water concessions

- new owners of the parcels served by the derivation

- heirs of water concession holders

- president, legal representative or proxy of a company in the event of a transformation resulting from a change of name, merger, transfer of business unit or other

The application may be submitted by Citizens, Companies, Individuals, Professionals, Bodies and other Organisations

In the case of several departing and/or succeeding owners, it is sufficient to produce several copies of page 1 (for owners) or page 2 (for succeeding owners) of Form TR, which are to be completed with the data of each. Once the form has been completed, all interveners must sign page 4 of the form.

The signature of the outgoing holder is not necessary if the parcels concerned are already entered in the land register of the incoming holder.

In order to avoid subsequent requests for regularisation by the administration, it is recommended that you carefully read pages 3 and 4, where the annexes to be submitted are identified with the different possible options (appointment of the previously identified representative or of a new person, cases of inheritance, taking over of tenants, managers, etc.).

The TR form may be delivered to the administration by any of the subjects interested in the title, or also by a third party duly delegated, provided that it is accompanied by a copy of the valid identity document of all the subjects involved in signing the form, or in signing even one of the enclosures provided for.

Form TR may also be transmitted by e-mail to the PEC of the Service.
