Water concessions - Concession renewal

Citizens, businesses and entities holding concessions for the use of public waters that are about to expire, pursuant to Article 37 of the Decree of the President of the Province of 23 June 2008, no. 22-129/Leg (Regulation for the simplification and regulation of procedures concerning derivations and uses of public water), must submit an application for renewalexclusively by telematic means during the twelve months preceding the expiry of the concession, accompanied by the documentation indicated in Annex D of the Regulation and a sworn report by a qualified designer.

Access to the Online Desk for submitting the renewal application is allowed to holders of water derivation concessions, natural persons or legal entities/entities (who have delegated a natural person).

The application for renewal is submitted by the holder of the expiring concession or by the owner of the property at the service of which the water derivation is placed or other holder of a real or compulsory right over the same property.

In the case of several holders of the same concession: it is sufficient for one of the holders in possession of the SPID or CIE to submit the renewal application in the name and on behalf of all the holders.

Using the SPID or CIEdigital identity, it is possible to:

• access to viewing the list of concessions issued;

• entry by the holder of the concession or his delegate, of the application for renewal as provided for by art. 37 of the Public Waters Regulations, in the manner indicated in the "Instructions for submitting the Declaration of Interest in Renewal" in the Documents section of this page;

• the insertion by the technical expert indicated by the concession holder, of the supplementary documentation for the renewal, following the "Instructions for the insertion of the technical documentation for the renewal procedure" in the Documents section of this page, paying particular attention to the loading of the shp files, a video guide to which is published here:

The maximum time limit for concluding the procedure is 300 days from the working day following receipt of the request.
