Unemployed transport attending courses: facilities

People - unemployed or suspended from employment - who attend courses for reintegration into work can travel free of charge on public transport limited to the home-to-work route.

The courses attended must be organised by the Autonomous Province of Trento, through the Employment Agency or the European Social Fund, and must last at least one week.

In order to obtain the free travel pass for attending the course, the person must apply for the smart card by filling in the forms attached to this page; the documents must be handed in at a Trentino Trasporti SpA or Trenitalia SpA ticket office (enclosing a passport photo).

The card issued free of charge will contain a free one-month ticket; if the course lasts more than one month, on expiry the user must go to a Trentino Trasporti or Trenitalia ticket office to request its renewal, presenting the course attendance certificate issued by the organising body.
