Description

The notice supports fixed investments in tangible or intangible assets commenced after the date of submission of the application or in any event not earlier than 1 September 2024.

The notice is implemented under Provincial Law no. 6/2023 "Interventions in support of the Trentino economic system" and for matters not provided for in the notice, the provisions of a general nature common to all interventions in force as of 8 November 2024 shall apply.

What it finances

The following types of investment are subsidised

  • construction of a new business unit
  • restructuring of an existing operating unit
  • expansion of an existing operating unit with possible restructuring of the same operating unit;
  • purchase of specific plant, machinery, equipment and other assets related to an existing business unit;

Applications are examined by means of an evaluation procedure.

Incentive and Expenditure Limits

The incentive measure is 30% of eligible expenditure.

Minimum and maximum expenditure limits

The minimum eligible expenditure is

  • 50 thousand euro, for applications submitted by entities operating in the hospitality sector;
  • EUR 25,000, for applications submitted by entities operating in the trade and services sector.

The maximum eligible expenditure limit is EUR 1 million.

Restrictions

Eligible investments must

  • be made within an operating unit located in the territory of the Province of Trento;
  • be started after the date of submission of the application for the incentive or, in any case, not before 1 September 2024
  • be completed by 31 December 2027 (deadline of 06/02/2026 extended by Resolution No. 965 of 04/07/2025).

The operating unit where the incentive initiative is implemented may be owned or not owned.

Check point 3(8) of the provisions of a general character common to all interventions, the specific conditions and requirements that the operational unit must comply with.

Further obligations are set out in the provisions of a general character common to all interventions and in the notice. These include the obligations to maintain the operating unit in the provincial territory, the employment obligations, andthe adoption/maintenance with respect to its employees of the contracts identified by the Provincial Council with Resolution No. 1758 of 31 October 2024.

Who it's for

Small and medium-sized enterprises, meeting the requirements set out in the Notice or in the general provisions common to all measures and, with regard to the sector:

A) for the hospitality sector, the following are eligible:

  • hotel establishments
  • non-hotel establishments, limited to room rental establishments, rural establishments, bed and breakfasts, holiday homes and flats, provided they are run as businesses;
  • excursion refuges;
  • open-air accommodation facilities.

The activity exercised must in any case fall under one of the Ateco codes provided for in Annex 1 of the general provisions and common to all interventions. Check Annex 1 of these general provisions for a list of the Ateco codes allowed.

B) for the commerce-services sector, enterprises operating in one of the Ateco codes provided for in the Notice are eligible. Please checkArticle 6 of theNotice for the list of Ateco codes admitted.

The application may be submitted by:

  • Owner, legal representative of the company
  • Delegate

What to do

Applications may be submitted - only online via computer platform - from 12 noon on 18 March 2025 until 12 noon on 30 May 2025.

Deadline expired at 12 noon on 30 May 2025. It is no longer possible to submit an application.

Each application must refer to a single type of investment and a single operational unit.

Attenzione!

For this notice

  • itis not permitted to submit more than one application under the same planning permission (or other documentation required by planning law) and its variants;
  • it isnot permitted to submit the same initiatives in other applications for subsidised incentives under the incentive measure provided for in Article 17(2)(a) of Provincial Law No. 6/2023
  • itis not permitted to submit an application for an incentive for an operating unit for which an application for facilitation has been submitted under the "Secondo bando Qualità in Trentino - Settore commercio e servizi" and the "Secondo bando Qualità in Trentino - Settore ricettivo", until the date of payment of the latter application. Applications for which the beneficiary demonstrates when reporting expenses that the initiatives refer to different areas/volumes and expenses even though they relate to the same operational unit are excluded.

Attenzione

For all the invoices for which the incentive is requested, it is mandatory to trace the expenses by affixing the unique project code - CUP according to the operative indications provided for by the Resolution of the Provincial Council no. 728 of 23 May 2024.

Specific consequences are foreseen in the event of non-compliance with the operative indications, such as the ineligibility of the expenses and the loss of the corresponding share of the facilitation, with recovery of any amounts already paid.

The deadline for reporting on the initiative is set for 30 June 2028 (deadline of 30/09/2026 extended by resolution no. 965 of 04/07/2025).
