Sports vouchers for families: registration for families with children under 18

The “Sports Voucher for Families” project aims to support families facing financial hardship and large families (with three or more children), who meet certain criteria and are resident within the province, in enabling their minor children and those treated as such to take part in sport, by providing a contribution towards the cost of participation.

Before completing the online application, the family must have already enrolled the child on the course with one ofthe organisations participating in the project ( seethe list) and must also undertake to pay the relevant fee.

Payment of the grant is subject to a minimum attendance rate of 70 per cent.

Failing this, unless there is a duly documented case of accident, illness or force majeure, the voucher must be returned with statutory interest added, and the child will not be eligible for the sports voucher in the following year.

Young people, including minors and those treated as such, who are resident in the Autonomous Province of Trento, are eligible for the grant from the age of 6, as well as those who will reach the age of 6 by 31 December of the year in which the application is submitted:

a) who belong to a household with three or more children, with a ‘Family’ Indicator not exceeding 0.34, in accordance with the definitions for identifying a household set out in the ICEF regulations referred to in Resolution No. 1256/25.

or

b) who belong to a household with a ‘Poverty’ Indicator not exceeding 0.165, in accordance with the definitions for identifying households set out in the ICEF regulations referred to in Resolution No. 1256/25.

or

c) minors in foster care at residential care facilities, to whom the ICEF financial eligibility criteria set out in points (a) and (b) do not apply.

The grant application must be submitted for each minor, whether a child or treated as such, by one of the parents – including foster parents – exclusively via the online procedureby clicking the ‘Access the service’ button on this page and logging in using the credentials of the Public Digital Identity Service – SPID, using the Electronic Identity Card (CIE) or the Provincial Services Card (CPS), and by completing online the form provided by the provincial authority responsible for youth policy.

Applications must be submitted exclusively online via the ‘Stanza del cittadino’ portal during the period set annually by executive decision.

For the year 2026, the new application submission period is scheduled to run from Monday 21 September to Friday 16 October 2026.
