Description
What is it?
‘Moderate rent’ housing is a public scheme designed to support households that meet the legal requirements.
The affordable rent is set at 30 per cent below the market rate.
The market rent per square metre is determined on the basis of average figures taken from the most widely used property publications and the results of specific market surveys.
Based on the actual availability of affordable rental accommodation within their respective areas of jurisdiction, the Valley Communities and the Val d’Adige Territory (Municipality of Trento) publish calls for applications.
Multiple applications may be submitted across the entire province, and if a property is not allocated, the application may be resubmitted.
Local authorities approve the ranking lists and offer applicants who are successfully placed on these lists the opportunity to rent a property at a moderate rent. If the accommodation is accepted, the applicant enters into the relevant tenancy agreement with the bodies specified by law (ITEA S.p.A., affiliated companies or other bodies).
