Services for homeless people

Homeless people can access

• daytime reception services at adult service centres: basic needs such as canteen and reception, shower, luggage storage, laundry but also opportunities to meet and socialise are guaranteed
• night accommodation services at permanent and winter dormitories, both male and female, in Trento and Rovereto: applications are collected and a bed is allocated on a temporary basis through the Counter for the reception of the homeless. The Province guarantees a permanent supply of beds, with an increase in accommodation in the winter season (indicatively from November to April). In the event of extraordinary atmospheric and/or natural events involving particularly critical situations, a further increase in bed places is envisaged thanks to the activation of a "Cold Plan".
• Counters for the reception of homeless people, as a point of information and orientation to services in the area and as a tool for analysing and monitoring the needs of homeless people and the phenomenon of serious adult marginalisation in general.

Adult persons in a situation of severe marginalisation present in the province, homeless, in a condition of severe personal, economic, family or social hardship, at risk of isolation and social marginalisation.

To access the permanent and winter dormitories, you must go in person to the Counter during opening hours:

• Help desk forhomeless men: Monday to Friday from 14:30 to 16:00, via Barbacovi, 2 - Trento
• Help desk for homeless women: Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 12:30, entrance from Piazza Leonardo Da Vinci - Trento

Possible reception is communicated by telephone or at the Helpdesk, usually between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Access to the Service Centres is free and is possible on the following days and at the following times

• in Trento: "Punto D'Incontro" in Via Rosmini 126/128, open Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• in Rovereto: "Il Portico" in Borgo Santa Caterina 61, open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. On Sundays and holidays the Centre is only open for the canteen from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
