Safety School - Edition 2025

The notice "A scuola di sicurezza 2025" is promoted by the Department for Economic Development, Research and Employment and the Employment Service of the Autonomous Province of Trento, as part of the promotion of a culture of safety and health in the workplace.

It provides for the allocation - to Trentino-based schools and training institutions of the second cycle - of grants for the implementation of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary educational projects for the promotion of a culture of safety and health in the workplace and in living environments, during the school year 2025/2026 and concluded by 31.10.2026.

The resources made available for this initiative, amounting to € 250,000.00, derive - in accordance with the provisions of Article 13 of Legislative Decree 81/2008 - from the sanctioning process in the field of health and safety at work pursuant to Legislative Decree 758/94.

Projects may be submitted by

1. individual school and training institutions
2. networks of school and training institutions
3. school and training institutions in associated form

Eligible initiatives must be related to projects that develop training/educational activities in the field of health and safety in the workplace: it is not possible to include in the project activities courses on safety in accordance with Legislative Decree 81/08.

The activities envisaged may be of a theoretical nature (training sessions or in-depth studies by experts, etc.) but the preference is stressed, also in terms of assessment, for practical/operational methods, thus focusing, in particular, on workshop experiences, comparison between conscious and unconscious activities or behaviour, between 'safe' and 'unsafe' work experiences, legal and illegal behaviour, correct and incorrect lifestyle, etc.

In addition, the organisation of a guided tour to one of the institutions/research centres competent in the field of safety is positively valued.

All projects must compulsorily provide for the production of a final product, in the form of a multimedia product (video, podcast, etc.) that can promote the dissemination of good health and safety practices.

Each project must, however, provide for the involvement of a minimum of 50 students. Projects must be started and completed in the 2025/2026 school year.

The activities, as described in the text of the notice, must be completed by 31 August 2026.

Projects may be submitted by

1. individual school and training institutions
2. networks of education and training institutions
3. school and training institutions in associated form

In the case of projects submitted by networks of school and training institutions or by school and training institutions in associated form, the lead institution must be indicated, which assumes responsibility for both organisational and financial management of the project.

Initiatives may also be carried out in cooperation with bodies with local expertise in the field of safety and health in the workplace and/or with associations, enterprises and social partners.

Each institute may submit only one project as a single school, except for those institutes with a single legal personality and several branches located in the territory. If necessary, in addition to the project submitted individually, the same institute may be involved in a network project, in which, however, it may not take on the role of leader. Furthermore, each institute may only be a partner in one project.

Several classes may also be involved in the project from different cohorts and pathways.

The application for participation must be drawn up using the appropriate forms Attachment 1 (application for a grant) and Attachment 2 (project presentation form), duly completed in all their parts and signed by the legal representative of the proposing school institution or by the lead partner; the application must be sent by PEC to the address: serv.lavoro@pec.provincia.tn.it, indicating "A SCUOLA DI SICUREZZA 2025" as the subject line by 17 November 2025.
