What to do
An SCIA may be submitted if there are company forest management plans that define the methods and quantities that can be used in forests.
The SCIA must be submitted by the owners or other entitled parties and is due for cuts exceeding 3000 square metres in coppice forests or 30 cubic metres in high-trunk forests.
It must be accompanied by a cutting project drawn up by a qualified forestry technician.
The Forestry Service assesses the consistency of the cutting project submitted with the contents of the approved Forest Management Plan
