Reporting changes in cultivation

Owners are obliged to communicate changes in the crops cultivated on the cadastral parcels, with respect to those recorded in the cadastral database.

These notifications must be sent, by means of the appropriate form Denuncia della variazione di coltura, to the territorially competent Land Registry Office.

In the case in which a subject produces the declaration of land use to a Paying Agency (APPAG), accredited for the purposes of the disbursement of agricultural contributions, this fulfilment is not necessary.

The declaration of the change of cultivation may be filed by the owner or usufructuary, or by someone delegated by them. In the latter case the crop change declaration form must be accompanied by a written proxy together with a copy of the delegating party's identification document.

Declarations must be submitted to the competent Land Registry Office by means of

• presentation at the counter
• sending by postal service by registered letter with advice of delivery
• sending by traditional or certified e-mail exclusively to the PEC address of the competent office

The notification of the classification with the new dominical and agrarian incomes is notified to the holder of the real right by registered mail or certified e-mail.
