Reimbursement of ODV and APS insurance charges

This is a contribution granted by the Province aimed at reimbursing voluntary organisations (ODV) and associations for social promotion (APS), for the costs incurred solely to fulfil the obligation to insure their members who carry out voluntary activities, against accidents and illnesses connected with the performance of the activity itself, as well as for third party civil liability.

Premiums paid to the insurance company in the calendar year preceding the submission of the application for reimbursement may be claimed (e.g. in 2025, premiums paid from 1 January to 31 December 2024 may be submitted).

Entities registered with RUNTS (at the time of the application for reimbursement) are not eligible for reimbursement if

1. they have been cancelled from RUNTS during the reimbursement application process or in cases where the cancellation process started during the application process
2. they are in the process of dissolution at the date of the application, having either
   • adopted a dissolution resolution
   • requested the cancellation of the tax code at the Revenue Office
   • applied to the RUNTS provincial office for an opinion on devolution pursuant to Article 9 of the Third Sector Code
3. submit an application for a total amount equal to or less than euro 50 (fifty)
4. the number of members or volunteers has not been declared in advance in the RUNTS, or it appears among the data contained in the RUNTS that the organisation has registered zero volunteers or members in the appropriate registers.

Non-commercial entities registered with RUNTS, in the following sections, may apply for reimbursement:

• A) ODV(Voluntary Organisations)
• B) APS(Associations for Social Promotion)

provided that

1. they have their registered office in the Province of Trento from the time of payment of the grant application until at least the date of the decision to grant reimbursement
2. they are duly registered by 31 December of the previous year (e.g. 31 December 2024 for the year 2025)
3. are up-to-date with their data on the RUNTS portal (number of members and volunteers)

Please ensure that the data in RUNTS matches the data in the association's records.

In order to be eligible for reimbursement, the requirement that the beneficiaries must have been registered with RUNTS since at least 31 December of the year for which the contribution is requested and must remain in force until the date of the reimbursement award decision, except in the case of federations and coordinations.

Note: If the policyholder is a national organisation that affiliates the local section, then the local section that has paid the membership fee (including insurance charges) to the national organisation will not be able to apply for REIMBURSEMENT OF THE INSURANCE CHARGES but will be able to apply for REIMBURSEMENT OF MEMBERSHIP FEES.

The application must be submitted telematically through the green button below that reads"Access the service" and which will allow the application to be started online through the electronic platform called "citizen's room", after authentication through the use of one's digital credentials:

• SPID (public system for managing the digital identity of citizens and businesses)
• CIE (electronic identity card)
• CNS (national services card)

The application may be submitted

1. by the legal representative pro tempore
2. by a proxy

The person with power of attorney must belong to one of the following categories

• volunteers entered in the appropriate endorsed register
• board members
• employees and para-subordinates of the organisation with an open INAIL position

The power of attorney must be digitally signed by the legal representative or signed by him/her by means of a handwritten signature (and in this case accompanied by an identity document of the declarant).

Unavailability of the platform

AND ONLY in the event of qualified unavailability of the platform, i.e. in the event of a qualified malfunction, the deadline for submitting the application will be extended for a period corresponding to the duration of the malfunction (by order of the Director in charge of the competent structure) and communicated via the institutional website of the Autonomous Province of Trento.

The following must be attached to the online application

1. copy of the policy statement (s) (for the first submission only)
2. copy of the premium payment receipt (s) issued by the insurance company
3. (if any) variation(s), receipt(s) of premium adjustment(s), policy specification(s) and declaration(s) of variable risk elements also containing the date of collection of the adjustment(s) (or failing that, attach relevant receipt(s))
4. (if applicable) special power of attorney only if the application is submitted by a delegated person using the special form approved by the competent office (downloadable from the link below)

The receipts attached to the application must bear a payment date between 1 January and 31 December of the calendar year preceding the year in which they are submitted for reimbursement, otherwise they will not be eligible for reimbursement.

For payments made by bank transfer, the reference date is the date on the receipts issued by the insurance company and not the date on which the transfer was requested.

Claims for a total amount of €50 (fifty) or less will not be eligible for reimbursement.
