Description

The Common Market Organisation (CMO) for wine is the European Union's single set of regulations governing the wine sector, both in terms of production standards and the non-repayable contributions allocated to companies.
The funding and contributions of the CMO wine are allocated by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry (Masaf) and the agricultural departments of the individual Regions and Autonomous Provinces.
The CMO wine third countries allocates non-repayable contributions for expenses related to the promotion of wine abroad, such as participation in trade fairs, tasting in restaurants, or simple advertising.

Who it's for

The following entities are eligible for the 'Promotion' measure
- professional and producer organisations
- associations of wine producer organisations
- inter-branch organisations
- protection consortia and their associations and federations
- wine producers
- public entities
- temporary business and special-purpose associations
- consortia, associations, federations and cooperative societies
- enterprise networks

What to do

All the necessary documentation for the presentation of projects is indicated in the Provincial Council Resolution No. 740 of 23 May 2024 and in the Directorial Decree No. 198090 of 3 May 2024, which can be downloaded from the institutional website of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry.
