Description
"M.E.T.A. - European Mobility, Traineeships and Learning" is a mobility project in European countries, financed by the Erasmus+ 2021-2027 Community programme, addressed to students in their fourth year of secondary schools (third year of four-year courses) and graduating students of the Trentino secondary school system and of the Trentino vocational education and training system, both public and peer.
With M.E.T.A. - European Mobility, Traineeships and Apprenticeships it is possible to carry out a mobility traineeship abroad, in companies identified on the basis of the participant's preparation and/or personal and professional growth project.
For "Student" participants in the 4th (III) year, the project proposes a 4-week mobility in the period from mid-June to mid-August: placements will be activated mainly in socialising areas, in which participants can experience and develop their linguistic, transversal and socio-cultural skills first-hand.
For "Graduates" participants, on the other hand, mobility is planned for 16 weeks, in the period from August to December: placements will be aimed, where possible, at strengthening specific technical-professional skills as well as developing language, transversal and socio-cultural skills.
All participants will have to:
- submit an ICEF 2024 "Single Application" declaration
- have a minimum knowledge of English and/or German and/or Spanish of at least level B1
- not have participated in mobility for the same target group in the previous edition of the Erasmus+ M.E.T.A. project.
What actions are envisaged
- Training for mobility: cultural and logistical preparation prior to the experience abroad
- Internship in Europe: 4 or 16 weeks of internship abroad in companies and organisations, depending on the candidate's profile
- One-day follow-up on return and certification of the experience
The project is intended to provide participants mainly with
- transversal skills (communication, relationship, teamwork, etc.)
- technical and professional skills (in the identified field)
- language skills, acted out in a professional and life context
- socio-cultural skills

Restrictions
All costs relating to training, internship, tutorship, return travel, stay (accommodation and contribution to food), insurance and local travel abroad will be borne exclusively by the Autonomous Province of Trento, which will make use of co-funding from the ERASMUS+ programme.
The costs of visa application (if necessary), passport application (if necessary), health requirements (swabs, vaccines, ...) required for the assigned destination and for the return to Italy and all personal expenses will be borne by the participants.
Attendance and Participation Allowance
Each participant, with the exception of students for whom the placement is curricular, will receive an attendance allowance of EUR 70.00 for each week of placement completed.
