The first settlement takes place upon notification by APSS.
The Azienda Provinciale per i Serivizi Sanitari di Trento also takes charge of the dossiers of people, already entitled to compensation, who transfer their registered residence to the Province of Trento. After the necessary verifications, APSS authorises APAPI to pay the amount due, with effect from the 1st January of the year following the year in which the registered residence is transferred to the province.
APAPI sends a registered letter to the beneficiary's address of residence notifying the act of the Director by which the payment of the compensation due is first activated.
A copy of the decision of the Director of APAPI is attached to the notification letter.
Subsequently, APAPI informs Apss of Trento and the Department of Health and Social Policies of the Autonomous Province of Trento of the fact that it has taken charge.
APAPI provides quarterly notification to the Central Pension Register, managed by INPS, of all the data relating to the file and the periodic payments made.
At ministerial deadlines, the Single Certification is compiled for exempt treatments paid in the calendar year preceding that of issue.
The amounts paid are updated annually on the basis of the ministerial tables valid at national level, after notification by APSS Trento.
