Interventions managed by Trentino Sviluppo - L.p. 6/2023

Interventions implemented under Provincial Law no. 6/2023 "Interventi a sostegno del sistema economico trentino" and managed by Trentino Sviluppo S.p.a. fall within the following areas

1. business services area, governed by the specific provisions for individual measures managed by Trentino Sviluppo S.p.a. and implemented by means of detailed notices "Business Services Area" and general provisions common to all measures
2. area acquisition of industrial buildings- governed by the specific provisions for individual measures managed by Trentino Sviluppo S.p.a. " Area acquisizione di immobili industriali" and by the general provisions common to all measures;
3. acquisition of plant area - in the implementation phase.

What they finance and incentives

1) Business services area

Services acquired from Trentino Sviluppo S.p.a. relating to the following types of initiatives are subsidised

• consultancy for the development of supply chains
• training in business finance;
• consultancy on innovation;
• consultancy for growth and qualification;
• consultancy for the development of the workforce;
• entrepreneurialtraining and qualification;
• joint participation in international trade fairs coordinated by Trentino Sviluppo S.p.a;
• joint participation in business missions coordinated by Trentino Sviluppo S.p.a.;
• internationalisationconsultancy;
• training in internationalisation;
• consultancy forstart-ups;
• training forstart-ups.

The incentive measure is calculated on the purchase cost of the acquired service.

The incentive is granted under the de minimis regime pursuant to Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/2831 of 13 December 2023.

The services - and therefore the possibility of applying for the incentive - are activated through detailed notices defined and published by Trentino Sviluppo S.p.a..

2) Area acquisition of industrial property

The following types of initiatives carried out, after the date of submission of the application for the incentive, through the acquisition of real estate offered by Trentino Sviluppo S.p.a. are eligible for assistance

• creation of a new operating unit
• expansion of the capacity of an existing operating unit;
• purchase in ownership of an operating unit under lease/usufruct/comodate/other title.

The incentive measure is calculated on the expenses deemed eligible.

The incentive is granted under the exemption regime pursuant to Commission Regulation (EU) 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 and under the de minimis regime pursuant to Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/2831 of 13 December 2023.

3) Facility acquisition area

Under implementation.

Facilitated initiatives must refer to operating units located in the territory of the Province of Trento, which meet specific requirements.

Further obligations are set out in the general provisions common to all interventions and in the specific provisions.

Small, medium-sized and large enterprises that meet the requirements set out in the specific provisions for individual measures or in the general provisions common to all measures.

The requirements include

• Insurance contract covering damage, directly caused by natural disasters and catastrophic events occurring on national territory, to the assets indicated in paragraph 1 of Article 2424 of the Civil Code, (asset section, item B-II, numbers 1), 2) and 3)), pursuant to Law no. 213/2023 (art. 1, paragraphs 101 et seq. as amended by art. 13 of Decree-Law no. 202/2024 and art. 1 of Decree-Law no. 39/2025).
  The insurance contract is required as an access requirement for applications submitted from:
  • 30 June 2025, for large enterprises;
  • 2 October 2025, for medium-sized enterprises;
  • 1 January 2026, for small enterprises.

Compliance with the insurance contract requirement is also required for incentive applications submitted before the aforementioned deadlines and granted after them.

• Collective contract in respect of its employees, among one of those identified by Resolution of the Provincial Council no. 1758 of 31 October 2024
• Contribution regularity towards social security and welfare institutions.

Applications must be submitted to the examining body Trentino Sviluppo S.p.a. by certified electronic mail (PEC).

For the business services area, detailed notices defined and published by Trentino Sviluppo S.p.a. may provide for a different method of submitting applications.
