Description

This is a contribution in favour of the employer who activates defensive solidarity contracts or other collective company agreements that establish a reduction in working hours, in order to favour the maintenance of jobs of persons employed by companies in a crisis situation.

The amount of the contribution

The annual contribution, granted for a maximum duration of two years, is quantified on the basis of the number of jobs and the extent of the reduction in working hours in relation to the amount of personnel declared to be redundant and is calculated as the lesser of

  • EUR 2 thousand per year for each job (reproportioned in the case of part time) retained with the activation of defensive solidarity contracts or other company collective agreements that establish a reduction in working hours;
  • EUR 2,000 per year for each employee (reproportioned in the case of part time) involved by defensive solidarity contracts or other company collective agreements establishing a reduction in working time and in relation to the average reduction in working time.

The grant of the contribution is subject to the authorisation by the competent bodies of the defensive solidarity contracts or company collective agreements.

In the event of dismissal during the term of the agreement, the contribution is proportionally reduced.
