Financial dowry for young people and contribution to the birth or adoption of children

The objective of the instrument is, on the one hand, to encourage the process of independence of children, and on the other, to support the birth rate in Trentino. The Dote envisages the granting of contributions, upon the birth or adoption of children, aimed at the total or partial repayment of bank loans taken out with agreed banks for a maximum duration of five years. It should be noted that only specific bank loans taken out for the Dote finanziaria with the banks listed below will be taken into consideration for the purposes of obtaining the grant.

Young people may obtain a loan from an affiliated bank to support the birth of a new household or a household already established after 1 January 2023. Upon the birth or adoption of children, after the stipulation of the loan, they may obtain a provincial contribution for the total or partial repayment of the loan.

The application must be submitted within 60 days of the birth or adoption of the child.

The declaration of partial or total repayment of the loan must be submitted within 30 days of the payment of the grant, otherwise the grant will be revoked.

Young people who meet the following requirements are eligible for the contribution, granted at the birth or adoption of their children:

- Residence: in Trentino for at least 2 years on the date of application for the grant (at least one of the two parents);

- Age: under 40 for at least one of the parents;

- ICEF: no more than 0.40;

- Supplementary pension scheme: both parents or one of them must have started a supplementary pension scheme (open-ended pension funds and PIP - Individual Pension Plans) for the child born or adopted before the grant application is submitted with a minimum payment of € 200.00

- Family unit: having formed a family unit by the young parents after 1 January 2023.

Young couples take out a loan, of a minimum amount of 15,000 and a maximum of 30,000 euros, with a partner bank for a maximum duration of 5 years.

Within 60 days of the birth or adoption of the child, they submit an application to the PEC address umse.coesionesociale@pec.provincia.tn.it

Upon the birth or adoption of a further child within the expiry date of the loan, a further application for a contribution may be submitted, again within 60 days of the birth

The application may be submitted by young couples who have already obtained the loan, taken out with a partner bank and co-owned, at the time of the birth or adoption of a child.
