Description
In order to enrol in Advanced Vocational Training (AFP) courses, it is necessary to pass an entrance assessment.
The entry assessment consists of
- analysis of the documentary evidence produced by the candidate to recognise credits acquired through study or work experience
- performance of one or more written tests to check basic technical, technological and English language skills
- interview aimed at detecting interests, aspirations and motivations regarding the choice of training pathway, in order to personalise the pathway and the in-company training.
In the case of dual apprenticeship programmes for advanced training and research, the induction assessment is also aimed at matching with companies willing to hire with a Level III apprenticeship contract.
For information on the entry assessment tests and enrolment in the individual advanced vocational training pathways, it is necessary to contact the implementing body of the pathway.
At the end of the entry assessment, the Commission establishes a ranking list for access to the Higher Vocational Training pathway.
It is possible to apply for admission to the entry assessment for more than one pathway by taking part in as many selections, depending on the time required to complete them.
