Description
If you have been granted the grant for the purchase of your first home to be repossessed in favour of young people, young couples and large families you must
- move, together with all the members of your household, your registered residence to your first dwelling house within 24 months from the date of the grant decision. Before the expiration of 24 months, you may request, for justified reasons, a single extension of the term for a maximum period of twelve months;
- In the case of an application submitted by a large family with unsuitable accommodation, sell this accommodation and enter into the relative contract within 24 months from the date of the concession measure, if it is still owned by the large family on the date the application is submitted. Before the expiry of the 24 months it is possible to request for justified reasons only one extension of the term for a maximum period of twelve months;
- if it has been indicated in the application that the first home is the subject of renovation and/or energy requalification work listed in Annex A of the Notice of Competition for an expenditure of at least €20,000, incur this minimum expenditure within 24 months starting from the date of the granting measure. Before the expiry of the 24 months it is possible to request for justified reasons only one extension of the deadline for a maximum period of twelve months;
- in the case of a joint application, to become a young couple within 24 months from the date of the grant decision. Before the expiry of 24 months, it is possible to request for justified reasons only one extension of the term for a maximum period of twelve months.
If the application has been submitted with the preliminary purchase contract attached, the deed of sale must be drawn up within 12 months from the date of the concession decision. For these applications, the deadlines for complying with the 4 above-mentioned points start from the date of execution of the deed of sale of the first dwelling house.
Beneficiaries of the grant must maintain their registered residence in their first home for a period of 10 years starting from the date of the grant decision or from the date of transfer of residence, whichever is later. For the same period, the first dwelling house may not be the subject, even partially, of a lease, loan or establishment of a right in rem of enjoyment, no other dwelling units may be obtained as a result of subdivision, and ownership of the property must be maintained. During this period, it is possible to sell the first dwelling and transfer the grant to another first dwelling only following authorisation by the Territorial Cohesion, Housing Policies and Enhancement of Trentino's Social Capital Abroad Service. The request for authorisation must be made on the special form available in the "What is needed" section under Forms.
A temporary change of residence for documented work or study reasons up to a maximum of 24 months does not constitute a breach of the restriction.
Application for extension
If you have been granted the contribution, you may request a single extension of the deadline, for justified reasons and for a maximum period of 12 months, for
