Contribution for the purchase of equipment useful for social welfare activities

Contributions may be granted to voluntary organisations, bodies, associations, cooperatives, foundations, which carry out non-profit interventions or activities in the social welfare field and which contribute to constitute the integrated system of services. Voluntary organisations and associations of social promotion engaged in surplus recovery and distribution activities are also eligible for grants.

Types of interventions that can be financed

A) Purchase of equipment, furnishings and vehicles necessary for the start-up of a new activity or service location, subject to the positive technical opinion of the territorially competent social service.

B) Purchase of equipment, furnishings and motor vehicles necessary to meet new service requirements.

C) Purchase for the replacement of equipment, furnishings and vehicles necessary to guarantee the continuity of the activities covered by the criteria.

D) Urgent purchase for the replacement of equipment, furnishings and vehicles necessary to guarantee the continuity of the activities covered by the criteria.

Entities eligible for contributions are: public bodies, associations, foundations, cooperatives and other private institutions whose purpose is to carry out non-profit interventions or activities in the social welfare field.

Voluntary organisations and associations of social promotion registered with the RUNST for at least six months at the date of the grant application are also eligible for grants for carrying out surplus recovery and distribution activities.

The deadlines open with effect from 1 March 2026 and close on 02 May 2026 for type A), B) and C) interventions, while for type D) interventions, urgent replacements, they open with effect from 1 February 2026 and close on 31 October 2026.

Each application must be accompanied by an explanatory report, an economic framework and a simple copy of the order or extract from the minutes of the competent body approving the application.

The privacy policy should not be returned, but kept.

For type A), B) and C) interventions, the starting date is set at the day following the deadline for submitting applications and the duration of the procedure is 90 days.
For type D) interventions, the starting date is set at the day following the submission of the application and the duration of the procedure is 45 days.
