Cartographic and traffic data request

• Students are exempt if they request data for their dissertations or other papers related to their course of study and declare themselves willing to allow the SIAT units to consult their work thus produced.
• The cost of reproduction varies according to the total size of the extrapolated data.

REPRODUCTION COST:

• Euro 7.94 for each sheet of paper or transparencies of A0 format (cm 1189 by cm 841) or fraction thereof;
• Euro 4.30 per 1.44 MB of downloaded data;
• Euro 21.52 per cd rom or 700MB of downloaded data.

For the request of traffic data it is necessary to consult the website of the Roads Management Service in order to identify the survey stations on the roads of interest; similarly, for the cartographic data the layers present on ViabGis are identified.

It is necessary to contact the competent structure by email/phone in order to refine the data request and consequently to have an economic quantification of the reproduction costs to be paid through PagoPA.

Subsequently, the duly completed form must be forwarded to the PEC box of the Road Management Service specifying as much as possible the characteristics of the data requested (e.g. time window, traffic survey station(s), data aggregation (day, hour, speed, direction of travel, vehicle type), etc.).

Once the data has been processed, a communication will be sent (to the address used to submit the application) with user, password and url address to download the data.
