Description
These are career guidance programmes designed to help participants use appropriate and effective active job-seeking methods. They are funded under the ESF+ Programme 2021–2027 with financial support from the European Union – European Social Fund Plus, the Italian State and the Autonomous Province of Trento. Specifically, participants are also assisted in creating a CV and a cover letter, as well as through job interview simulations.
The training programmes may comprise three different types of course: basic, advanced and a combined basic/advanced course, and are held across all areas of Trentino.
The courses last 16 hours and cover the following topics:
- Active job search: an overview of methods and channels for finding work;
- Creating and preparing at least one CV in Europass format, with particular attention to the presentation of personal knowledge, skills and competences, previous employment history, and cover letters;
- Using social media to look for work;
- Cover letter
- How to apply for a job and how to conduct yourself before, during and after the application process;
- Presentation of the services offered by the Trentinolavoro Portal and how to apply for various vacancies;
- Provision to the participant of their CV and a cover letter template in digital or paper format.
