Organisation and conduct of the activity
• Selection/acceptance criteria: priority given to key themes (waste, WEEE, sustainable consumption, indoor air pollution and radon), equitable geographical distribution (priority given to schools that have never previously registered for APPA activities), chronological order, and proposals preferably integrated into regular teaching activities (maximum one application per class).
• Confirmation: once bookings have closed, APPA will send an official email from educazioneambientale@provincia.tn.it to the contact teacher, with a copy to the school’s administrative office, to notify them of the outcome (whether accepted or not) of the application to participate in the EAS projects.
• Programme details: the content and format cannot be altered. Each session lasts 2 consecutive school hours.
• Planning: the environmental educator will contact the accepted teachers by 31 December 2026 to arrange dates and times. If several classes within the same school complex are enrolled with the same educator, the sessions must be scheduled on the same day (for reasons of sustainable transport).
• Attendance: the teacher must be present for the entire duration of the sessions.
• Evaluation: at the end of the activity, the lead teacher will receive an email from APPA (educazioneambientale@provincia.tn.it) containing a link to complete the online feedback form.
Administrative notes (Transparency/Documentation)
• Free of charge: the activities are completely free of charge.
• Assignment: the environmental educator’s role is not an external assignment or consultancy provided by the school, but a service delivered directly by APPA.
• Selection of environmental educators: educators are selected by APPA through a tender process. APPA ensures that they meet the required criteria and possess the necessary skills.
• Documentation: Environmental educators must not submit CVs, declarations or any other material to the school regarding their competence, knowledge or qualifications.
