Application for the licence to operate thermal plants

In order to obtain the licence for the conduction of thermal systems, it is required to be over 18 years of age and to meet only one of the following requirements

a) having passed the exam of the training course organised by the "Enaip Trentino" paritarian training institution, Villazzano seat

b) having attended the three-year qualification course of "Thermo-hydraulic technician" and/or the fourth year of the professional diploma course of "Heating system technician", organised by Enaip Trentino seat in Borgo Valsugana, having passed the examination to ascertain suitability

c) be in possession of the certificate of qualification to any degree for the operation of steam generators (issued by the Health Authority or by the Labour Inspectorate).

Apply for a new licence

Person falling under letter a: collect your licence by appointment at the Vocational Training, Tertiary Training and System Functions Service approximately 30 days after passing the examination;
Persons falling under letter b: send a request indicating their personal details (surname, first name, address, place and date of birth) and the year they passed the examination. An additional 16 euro revenue stamp must be handed in at the time of collection.
Person falling under letter c: The interested party must submit the application via PEC with a 16-euro revenue stamp, enclosing a copy of the steam generator conduction licence and a copy of an identification document.

When collecting the thermal plant conduction licence, also bring the original steam generator licence and an additional 16 euro revenue stamp.

Patent revision

On reaching the age of 65, every 5 years, holders of the issued licence must apply to the Professional Training, Tertiary Training and System Functions Service for it to be revised by submitting a medical certificate attesting to the physical and mental requirements for running thermal plants. The application must be submitted with a 16 euro revenue stamp and an additional 16 euro revenue stamp must be handed in when the revised licence is collected.

Loss or deterioration of the licence

To obtain a duplicate licence, due to loss or deterioration, it is necessary to submit an application to the Professional Training, Tertiary Training and System Functions Service, enclosing an identity document and a copy of the report of loss to the competent authorities. The application must be submitted with a 16 euro revenue stamp and an additional 16 euro revenue stamp must be handed in when the replacement licence is collected.
