Application for authorisation of competitions and nautical events

  • Active

Authorisation must be applied for in advance and for any nautical competition or event, whether competitive or non-competitive, that takes place on the waters of the provincial water domain.

Description

Nautical competitions and events, both competitive and non-competitive, taking place on the waters of the provincial water domain are subject to prior authorisation pursuant to the National Navigation Code and pursuant to Provincial Law no. 9/2001.

The application for authorisation must be accompanied by a map of the field where the scheduled event is to be held, which may not overlap with fields of concurrent events that have already been authorised, unless agreements are reached between all the organisers involved. Authorisation for the organisation of events on rivers must be accompanied by a descriptive report and safety plan, signed by a qualified engineer.
