Description
The facilitation measure supports the introduction of highly qualified personnel into the companies, made available on secondment by a research and knowledge diffusion organisation or a large enterprise carrying out research and development activities.
The introduction of the highly qualified personnel into the company must take place after the date of submission of the application.
The costs incurred for the secondment of highly qualified personnel are subsidised.
The highly qualified personnel must perform a newly created function within the company and must not replace other personnel.
The highly qualified personnel must perform tasks related to at least one of the following activities
fundamental research;
industrial research;
experimental research;
process innovation.
The cost incurred and the activity carried out by the highly qualified personnel must result from the secondment agreement signed between the enterprise requesting the incentive and the research and knowledge diffusion organisation or the seconding large enterprise.
Applications are examined by means of an evaluation procedure.
Incentive
The incentive measure is equal to 50% of the eligible expenses.
The incentive is granted under an exemption scheme pursuant to Commission Regulation (EU) 651/2014 of 17 June 2014.
Minimum and maximum expenditure limit
The minimum eligible expenditure must be greater than €20,000. The maximum eligible expenditure limit is EUR 240 thousand.
There is also a maximum eligible annual expenditure of EUR 80 thousandper full-time person and, in any case, for a maximum period of secondment of highly qualified personnel of 36 months.
Restrictions
Highly qualified personnel, made available on secondment, must work at an operating unit located in the territory of the Province of Trento and start their activity within 3 months from the date the incentive is granted.
The introduction of the highly qualified personnel into the business must be completed within 3 years from the starting date.
