Description
Accreditation is sought in order to carry out the activities foreseen for the competence validation and certification service in four stages:
Access to the service:
- To inform, illustrate and clarify the pathway of competence recognition, its articulation, its rules, its results and its value, in order to favour conscious participation in the various activities.
- Acquire the application for access to the service.
- Manage the documentation required by the service according to the methods envisaged by the provincial information system supporting certification services.
Identification:
- Provide information regarding the drafting of the Individual Dossier.
- Reconstruct the framework of experiences through the drafting of the Individual Dossier.
- Pre-code the competences, skills, knowledge which can be associated to the reconstructed experiences in terms of learning outcomes referable to professional standards present in the provincial repertory and identify the professional profile or qualification of reference for assessment.
- Verify any prerequisites with reference to the identified profile or professional qualification.
- Accompany the user in the construction of the Individual Dossier.
- Elaborate the Transparency Document as a summary of the Individual Dossier.
- Issue the user with the formalised Individual Dossier and the related Transparency Document.
- Inform about any useful element of the subsequent steps, including indications for evaluation practices/methods.
Evaluation:
- Ensure the technical secretarial activities of the Evaluation Committee, the management and care of the procedure of the evaluation phase specifically the support to the activities related to the technical examination of the documentation and performance tests.
- Making the Transparency Document Referent available for the operations of the Evaluation Committee.
- Manage the documentation required by the service according to the methods envisaged by the provincial information system to support the certification services.
Certification:
- Prepare the Certificate or Validation Document.
- Deliver the Certificate or Validation Document to the user
- Register the Certificate or Validation Document
- Manage the documentation required by the service according to the methods provided by the provincial information system supporting certification services.
Duration of accreditation
Accreditation has a duration of three years from the date of adoption of the relative measure and is renewable on application by the entitled body to be presented within sixty days prior to the expiry of the duration of the same accreditation.
