Procedures and criteria for accreditation

Description

Accreditation is sought in order to carry out the activities foreseen for the competence validation and certification service in four stages:

Access to the service:

  • To inform, illustrate and clarify the pathway of competence recognition, its articulation, its rules, its results and its value, in order to favour conscious participation in the various activities.
  • Acquire the application for access to the service.
  • Manage the documentation required by the service according to the methods envisaged by the provincial information system supporting certification services.

Identification:

  • Provide information regarding the drafting of the Individual Dossier.
  • Reconstruct the framework of experiences through the drafting of the Individual Dossier.
  • Pre-code the competences, skills, knowledge which can be associated to the reconstructed experiences in terms of learning outcomes referable to professional standards present in the provincial repertory and identify the professional profile or qualification of reference for assessment.
  • Verify any prerequisites with reference to the identified profile or professional qualification.
  • Accompany the user in the construction of the Individual Dossier.
  • Elaborate the Transparency Document as a summary of the Individual Dossier.
  • Issue the user with the formalised Individual Dossier and the related Transparency Document.
  • Inform about any useful element of the subsequent steps, including indications for evaluation practices/methods.

Evaluation:

  • Ensure the technical secretarial activities of the Evaluation Committee, the management and care of the procedure of the evaluation phase specifically the support to the activities related to the technical examination of the documentation and performance tests.
  • Making the Transparency Document Referent available for the operations of the Evaluation Committee.
  • Manage the documentation required by the service according to the methods envisaged by the provincial information system to support the certification services.

Certification:

  • Prepare the Certificate or Validation Document.
  • Deliver the Certificate or Validation Document to the user
  • Register the Certificate or Validation Document
  • Manage the documentation required by the service according to the methods provided by the provincial information system supporting certification services.
Duration of accreditation

Accreditation has a duration of three years from the date of adoption of the relative measure and is renewable on application by the entitled body to be presented within sixty days prior to the expiry of the duration of the same accreditation.

Who it's for

All public and private entities are eligible for accreditation provided they meet the following requirements:

a) The memorandum of association or articles of association of the applicant legal entity must provide for the performance of skills assessment or assessment activities or activities related thereto, such as training, educational guidance, vocational guidance, job offer-demand matching, even on a non-exclusive basis
b) The applicant legal entity must be enrolled, where specifically required by the legislation in force, in the register of companies at the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Handicraft and Agriculture competent for the territory
c) The applicant legal entity must have, within the territory of the Province of Trento and for the entire period of duration of the accreditation
- of one or more operating premises complying with the regulations on hygiene, health, safety and accessibility
- of adequate space and/or instrumentation in compliance with the regulations in force for verification and technical testing to allow the performance of the activities of the assessment phase and performance tests
d) The applicant legal entity must demonstrate economic and financial reliability.
e) The legal representative and directors of the applicant legal entity must demonstrate reliability in relation to the criminal and civil laws in force.
f) The applicant legal entity must have managerial and professional resources at its disposal to ensure a stable professional organisational structure capable of guaranteeing the functional supervision of the processes of management, economic-administrative management and service delivery.
g) The applicant legal entity must have at its disposal human resources with specific professional skills to carry out the activities envisaged for the validation and certification of competences services within the declared economic-professional sector.

Only the following categories of public and private entities must be in possession of the requirements referred to in points c) and g)

  1. entity accredited to implement the 2014-2020 operational programmes of the European Social Fund and the European Regional Development Fund
  2. entity accredited to provide employment services within the provincial territory
  3. provincial education and training institution or peer education and training institution
  4. University of Trento or higher education institutions for art, music and dance based in the province of Trento

In order to be accredited, it is necessary to apply via the online application procedure , which will be active at any time during the year.
