Accompanied Housing and Sheltering Communities Report Card

The service is divided into 'accompanied living' and 'host community' interventions.

• The Shelter Community for adults is a residential service of a temporary nature aimed at adults in a situation of discomfort or fragility unable to integrate positively into the environment in which they live, from a psychological, social and economic point of view.
• Abitare accompagnato interventions are residential housing support interventions addressed to people or families in situations of personal, social, economic or housing vulnerability, who need support to develop and improve their independent living skills.

The service is citizen-oriented, but is for use by the territorial public housing system.

The service is mainly aimed at adults aged between 18 and 64 years and families, who find themselves in one or more of the following conditions

• housing hardship, with particular reference to emergency conditions and/or loss of personal autonomy;
• economic, personal, social or family fragility, who are facing a path towards personal autonomy and who need a housing solution in which to find support and assistance in daily life activities;
• need for social protection;
• coming from a pathway in other residential services, but who are not yet ready for a fully autonomous life.

The request can be made online via the province's website.

In the report, you are asked to specify whether you are requesting the inclusion of a single person or a household, and the respective personal data must be entered. In addition, it is necessary to indicate

• the type of request (accompanied living or reception community)
• the reporting social service
• the description of the case (housing situation, economic situation, debt situation)
• the person's/team's level of skills and competences
• the project proposal (objectives, duration, type of accommodation)

No specific documentation is required.

The service is active all year round.
