Description
Subsidies for landscape protection are incentives provided for by Article 72, Paragraph 10 of Provincial Law no. 15 of 4 August 2015 'Provincial Law for the Government of the Territory' managed by the Urban Planning and Landscape Protection Service, which can be requested for extraordinary maintenance or enhancement works on assets located in areas of environmental protection.
The criteria applied to date are those set out in Provincial Council Resolution No 1718 of 19 July 2002, which are incompatible with the updated provincial, national and Community regulations on both subsidies and contributions and administrative-procedural matters.
The suspension of the deadlines for submitting applications for subsidies - which are open from 1 January to 31 December of each year - is therefore dictated by the need to assess the possibility of updating the implementing criteria as well as the underlying administrative procedure, in compliance with the principle of effectiveness of administrative activity and of not aggravating the procedure.
Moreover, the current criteria do not take into account the dynamics of market prices and the actual resources made available by the administration, and consequently the limits of eligible expenditure, the intensity of the co-participation and the references of the expenses for the projects submitted must be reassessed.
By Resolution No. 1987 of 6 December 2024, the deadline for submitting grant applications is suspended as of 1 January 2025 and until otherwise provided. Any grant applications submitted during the suspension period will be archived.
