Description
In 2021, the 143-kilometre cycle-pedestrian route between art and nature won the first prize of the Italian Green Road Awards, an initiative that aims to strengthen knowledge of greenery and the environment and to develop awareness of greenery and the environment as an objective "value".
The Trentino cycle route, built largely by recovering river banks, old roads and abandoned railways, leads to the discovery of lower Trentino accompanied by the flow of water.
Part of this itinerary is served by the provincial bike sharing service, the most extensive in Europe on an extra-urban basis with 90 cycle stations and almost 1,000 stalls on 60 km of connected network.
