Description
The key areas of technological development are the fundamental driving force behind Trentino’s technological autonomy and global competitiveness. Those identified represent the main vertical innovation pathways on which the Province’s investments will be focused and around which the development and consolidation of the ecosystem – comprising businesses, human capital and research – will be supported, with the aim of creating, in the medium to long term, a strong system with critical mass and international recognition.
In this context, the public administration is called upon to act as the architect of integrated ecosystems, consolidating the Science and Technology Clusters and promoting vertical technology transfer between cutting-edge research and the manufacturing sector. At the same time, the business world must evolve towards Enterprise 5.0 models, integrating advanced skills and digitalisation into production processes, in order to transform the region’s innovative capacity into competitive and resilient added value within international value chains.
